Recently the Amtico herringbone styles in Spacia and Signature ranges have proved especially popular. Herringbone is a way of fitting smaller Amtico wood-effect tiles that can produce amazing decorative patterns. You can lay Amtico flooring in a herringbone pattern in one room and seamlessly change to an alternative pattern as the material goes into a different area. Amtico flooring is so versatile! So for example, your kitchen could be in herringbone and your utility in a brick bond pattern in a different range altogether.
Also, if you want the pattern to change at the perimeter of the room, it’s no problem. Amtico flooring herringbone can be laid in the centre and a border can be created which is in a contrasting effect (see picture below). And because Amtico flooring is fitted right up to skirting boards without the need for beading, the whole effect is super neat and tidy.
Laying Amtico Herringbone is slightly more complex than other styles but at Kristoffersen’s, our fitters are the best in the business.
