Our passion for excellent service has allowed us to grow from our first shop on Portobello High Street to six locations across Edinburgh, The Lothians and The Scottish Borders, each dedicated to delivering outstanding flooring solutions and exceptional customer service.

Kristoffersen Carpets & Flooring
Our founder, Norrie Kristoffersen, was driven by a commitment to helping customers find exactly what they need, without the hassle. His philosophy was simple: provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance, and bring a passion for flooring to the local community.
Starting with one small store on Portobello High Street, Norrie’s vision and dedication helped us grow our reach, establishing additional Edinburgh flooring stores in Morningside and Corstorphine, as well as branching out to Galashiels, Newtongrange and Fenton Barns. Today, we continue to offer the same expertise and customer care that defined Kristoffersen Carpets & Flooring Edinburgh from the beginning.

New Chapter Same Values
In 2022, Norrie decided it was time to retire and pass on this Edinburgh flooring company to new hands. Kristoffersen Carpets & Flooring is now led by three directors, Daniel, Leigh, and Chris, who have each been with the company for many years. They have an intimate understanding of the company and its mission and commitment to local service, and they are honoured to carry on the Kristoffersen legacy.
Our new directors bring fresh energy to the business, ensuring the values Norrie established remain strong while exploring new opportunities to better serve Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Passionate about both flooring and community, they aim to uphold our reputation as the go-to Edinburgh Flooring Stores.
